We been engaged since April 09, getting married August 2010, and if I get asked one more time when I'm going to try on wedding dresses I'm going to burst. We will have been planning for 22 months. It's still hectic the last two months. I'm not going to lie. My invitations were addressed in May. I sent them out Friday. But there is still mucho things to do. It happens. There's alot that can't be taken care of all at once. But it's a fun ride. Enjoy the next few months. It's bliss (really) until you get closer to that mark. We are counting days not months now and each time it jumps 10 days I panic! LOL. But I do know what you mean about the possible venue. I will be getting married 2 summers from now so its a full 2 year engagement and one of my best friends got engaged the week after me and she already set a date 1 full year before mine!!! haha. i love the idea of a long engagement. I am a total DIY girl and I want to have time to make, create and be inspired without the rush. AND YES it does mean making lots of lists just to go back and cross it all off and start over. The way i look at it... if you have a short engagement then you make haste decisions and end up regretting a lot. So with all this time I am able to make solid decisions i will be happy with forever. (hopefully) hahah. oh and PS.... I already purchased my dress. but its a secret because i dont want anyone to think that im crazy! haha I just got engaged 2 mts ago.
