Chris and Heather’s Ojai mountain wedding has it all. Stunning scenery, perfect weather, fabulous decor, and to top all of that off, unbelievable photography by Mark Brooke.
The couple chose the tranquil tuscan villa and gardens of Belle Loreve for their venue.
The wedding ceremony took place in the upper garden with the backdrop of the Ojai mountains.
Joni at Hearts Bloom in Santa Barbara created an aisle strewn with white petals and used purple orchid branches to add a vibrant splash of color to the mountain scenery.
Mark’s portraiture work never ceases to inspire!
Held under two open air tents, the reception featured a combination of long brown wood tables and round tables decorated with modern purple and green branch and orchid centerpieces. Sonia of XOXO Bride coordinated the details to perfection.
Chandeliers overhead added an elegant touch to the rustic setting.
A mix of low and lush and tall branch centerpieces were used, giving the tents such an organic feel!
Tables without linens are my favorite – especially if they are beautiful dark wood dining tables.
A white lounge area provided an area for guests to relax…
… while inside the tent the crowd was dancing to music played by Santa Barbara DJs.
A purple and white orchid-topped cake by the bakery at Belle Loreve was the perfect sweet treat.

Can you send me an email and tell me what some of the purple and green flowers are that you had on your centerpieces?
I adore all of the colors used in this wedding! I’m getting married 9-10-11 and can’t decide which purple to go with a plum wine or a grape purple. Could you email the name and color of these bridemaids dress?

i’m so sorry nicole but unfortunately i don’t have the bridesmaids dress information. but i’d definitely say they are grape if that helps!
What a gorgeous wedding. I’d love to get more details on the centrepieces too. Our colours are eggplant and chartreuse and I’m a bit stuck on what to do for the tables. If my wedding is half as beautiful, I’ll be thrilled. Wishing you all the best.
I love love love the long, brown wood tables! We are having our reception at my parent’s ranch in Dallas, Texas and I am looking for brown tables like the ones used in this wedding. Where did you find them???? I don’t want to use linens because I feel it will be too fussy for an outdoor wedding. Any tips you can give me will be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Ilse! Check with your local rental companies, they should be able to source wood estate tables for you. Good luck! :)
I love this purple wedding quite a lot, and i appreciate those photos very much. May i use one of your photo just for sharing.
I would love to know where the bridesmaid dresses are from, they are exactly what I am looking for.

Nicki
