At some point during this whole wedding process, I’m really looking forward to having a wedding movie marathon.

I haven’t even heard of all of these, but…
I saw Wedding Planner in the theatre, I cried at 3 different points during the movie. I lived My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Wedding Crashers might make me freak out…(please let no one crash my wedding!). Mr. and I saw 27 Dresses on the train down to Sevilla before he proposed. LOVED Bride Wars!!! Never seen Sweet Home Alabama.
I was thinking that it’d be fun the night before the wedding but I think it’s probably a better idea to get some sleep. Besides, I’m sure I’ll be finishing up SOME diy project or something.
Are you planning on a wedding movie marathon? If so, when? Any must-see wedding movies not on the list here?

oh my, how on EARTH have you never seen sweet home alabama? that is one of my favorite movies ever! you also need to watch betsy’s wedding – classic! oh, and my best friend’s wedding. and how did four weddings and a funeral not make the list!? :)
what a cute idea! maybe think about adding ‘steel magnolias’…the first part of the movie starts with shelby’s wedding..and i always liked that part. :)
have fun!

How bad is it that I have seen all of these movies and could probably recite half if not all of each of these to you…
Yup… Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a Wedding Movie a Holic.
I wonder if there are classes or meetings for people like me.
My fav. The Wedding Date, Father of the Bride, and Made of Honor.

A few other movies that aren’t on the list: Wedding Wars, A Wedding for Bella, and Muriel’s Wedding. Those are definite must sees.

Please, if you watch any of these movies make sure that Sweet Home Alabama makes the cut! I’m not sure if it’s b/c I am from Alabama, but this is one of my all time favorites (and I’ve seen every. single. movie. in the collage- kind of scary).

When I was planning our wedding, I would always pop in a wedding movie as “background” noise. Favors went with Father of the Bride, invitations with Wedding Planner, etc. One movie you absolutely MUST add to your list is License to Wed!! My hubby and I saw it in theaters and aboslutely LOVED it! So did our pre-wedding counseling class (church requirement – did it with a group of 3 other couples). Of course, I’m a huge fan of Mandy Moore so I knew I would love it. It will make you laugh your you-know-what off without the scare factor of Wedding Crashers. :-)

I am a wedding movie junkie!! I say, definitely watch 27 Dresses, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Father of the Bride, and 27 Dresses. I always thought it would be fun to do a wedding movie sleepover as a bachelorette party!
