Real Weddings: Camilla + David

I love small, personal wedding ceremonies.  Along with thirteen of their closest friends and family, Camilla and David celebrated their marriage at the Carneros Inn in Napa Valley.  Every element of this event speaks to me – the joy that Camilla and David feel, the intimate setting, the gorgeous rustic tablescapes, and the amazing way that Ray Soemarsono of Apertura captured the moments of the day.

Julie Stevens Design did a fabulous job creating beautiful rustic elements that fit perfectly with the backdrop of the Carneros Inn.

Camilla is from Sweden, David is from Ireland, and they live in New York. Sand from all three places was used in their sand pouring ceremony.

Julie put together the most stunning arrangements featuring hydrangeas, pears, grapes, and pinecones.  Le sigh.

Each place setting was adorned with a small bunch of grapes.

With only thirteen guests seated at one long estate table, Julie was really able to pay attention to small details and fill the table with an abundance of flowers and fruit.  The finished result is strikingly beautiful.

Throughout dinner, the guests were treated to the music of Lawrence Strings.

And of course, Ray shot some epic portraits!
