If you aren’t from the South, you may not know of the tradition of bridal portraits. You get all dressed up in your gown, veil, and shoes and have your hair and makeup done (great time to do your trial runs!) and end up with completely gorgeous photos of yourself. It’s basically the most fun thing ever.
I absolutely love this bridal session from Stacy Reeves, it is such a modern take on the tradition!

These are stunning! I live in South Louisiana and honestly had no idea bridal portraits were a southern thing. I just thought everyone did them. You’re right, that’s when my girls usually do their hair and makeup trials!
