Retro Seafoam, Mint and White

Lately, I’m fascinated with all things 1960s, and specifically anything seafoam green.  I love it.  For me, the color is a little art-deco, a little mod, a little retro… and so unique.  I would love to see a modern-day seafoam and mint green wedding.

Some ideas for a 60s-inspired event:

  • Create “Will you be my bridesmaid?” cards out of Twiggy paper dolls (printable ones can be found here)
  • Set up an old-fashioned soda fountain instead of dessert or cake
  • Make favors from your favorite 60s music out of these CDs created to look like records (you can find all varieties of CD sleeves here)
  • Wear gloves and a single strand of pearls
  • Make your getaway card a classic Camaro or Mustang

Have you seen anything seafoam green with navy or bay blue? I have an images of those together (with maybe a khaki) for my wedding, but can’t find anything! I’d really appreciate a push in the right direction. Thanks

I love these color! I am interested in finding a wedding gown in a light mint or seafoam. I have searched the net, any suggestions?

@andrese my guess is that your best bet is trying to find a retro 70s bridesmaid dress to convert – check vintage shops, etsy, and ebay and good luck!

@Andrese – I actually purchased a dress in that color from a Brides Against Breast Cancer Bridal Show a few months ago and I’m willing to part with it. Please contact me if you are interested matildebrito09@gmail.com.
