I absolutely adored our wedding cake.  I wanted something simple and classic.  I had the bakery do a simple rustic technique on the cake and while I added the flower as a nice accent.  The combination of vintage, classic, simple and rustic really worked well together.

We hadn’t discussed what was going to happen during the cake cutting so we just went with it.  My dear husband decided to smash cake in my face while I was a little more gracious.

As you can see from the photos, we had a lot of fun!
