Unique Centerpieces

I’ve seen lots of unique alternatives to flowers for wedding decor recently!

What are your thoughts on non-floral (or even edible!) centerpieces?  I have to admit, I’m kind of digging the veggies!

we heart your comments!

I’ve seen the trend move towards edible art. I have done a few weddings where I saw this. There are now more and more wedding vendors that are offering this. Since flowers end up dying anyway, what better way to get your money’s worth than doing this?

  2. i’m a huge fan of non-floral centerpieces! ours are going to incorporate my vintage pyrex collection and be filled with locally-grown cherries that hopefully people will eat! we’re also using a bunch of random 30s-60s antiques i’ve collected over the years. each table will have something different :)

  3. I think edible centerpieces are an excellent idea. I would feel better about having my guests eat the centerpieces rather than throwing them away. Centerpieces also work out well when they can be used for notes to the bride/groom or even taken home with them. Thank you for sharing, you have a wonderful blog.

  4. I think any consumable/useful centrepiece is a great idea. Flowers are pretty but such a shame when they get tossed away. I love the idea of fruit or other goodies. Also plants that can be taken home by the guests are good too.

Hello, does anyone know a vendor that provides edible vegetable centerpieces?

    Thanks
