Tessa and Blake’s Birmingham, Alabama art gallery wedding, photographed by Amelia Strauss, is so fun and modern!

I love it when I see a unique and unexpected wedding venue, and the backdrop of the Matt Jones Gallery was simply stunning.

Hothouse Design Studio did a wonderful job creating chic, modern arrangements to fit in with the vibe of the art gallery.

Blake is a photographer and an architect, so the couple displayed his work throughout the gallery.

Personal touches are what make a wedding special – blueprints that Blake had sketched were placed underneath the groom’s pastry table.

Amelia captured some awesome portraits in the gallery, and also during the couple’s day after session on the outskirts of Birmingham.

I really the like the how the wedding captured the groom’s profession through his job as an architect. The artsy and contemporary poses of the pictures are beautiful and classy.
