To add some color to the place setting for the Summer Citrus Tabletop and bring in the beauty of the amazing centerpiece by Kristen of Kio Kreations, I used some of the stems that Kristen had left over from the centerpiece to create small floral clusters to tuck inside the napkin rings.

{all of the photos in this post are by me; visit this post for the “real” images by the fabulous Olivia Leigh Photographie}
You will need: Flowers with stems cut to 2-3 inches, floral wire, and floral tape. You can purchase the wire and tape at your local craft store.
Step 1: Mock-arrange your flowers as you like them; cut stems to approximately the same length.

Step 2: Wire your stems, if necessary, for support. Poke the wire through the top of the stem, just underneath the flower head. Leave an equal amount of wire on both sides of the top of the stem, push down and wind around the stem. You can also wire a flower with a particularly thin stem to another, stronger, stem.

Step 3: Wrap the stems tightly together with floral tape. Secure by pinching floral tape together at end.

Step 4: Tuck your little creation into the napkin ring at each place setting.

You can use this exact technique to create boutonnieres as well! For a boutonniere, as a finishing touch you would wrap ribbon around the stem to cover the floral tape and secure with a pin.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! This is so close to what I envision for my wedding (except using lighter colors for the flowers, butter, peach and sage green).Do you have any recommendations for where I can find jars like the ones pictured?
