I love the recent trend of brides collecting items to use in their wedding! It brings such a personal and unique touch to your day and allows you to keep and treasure the objects for years to come. Melissa from Evantine Design put together a beautiful “collectors table” for a recent event that highlights this trend and shows how lovely collected and found objects can be in your wedding. She gathered beautiful vintage tin containers and added in lots of colored glass and wooden lanterns.
All of these amazing photos are by one of my favorite ladies, Marie Labbancz.

Melissa shares:
Rather than a focusing on a color or favorite flower as the décor theme, we are lucky enough to have many different collections of items here to play with as we design parties for clients. This particular collection shown is of vintage tin containers. Love the juxtaposition of the old tins, mixed with vintage colored glass, wooden reproduction lanterns and modern white butterfly chairs. Not to mention the amazing mix of bright and happy colors in the flowers!

I love the setting of the Urban Outfitters Warehouse at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia. It’s so open and airy, and a clean slate for any type of event!

I’ve always loved the idea of using vintage tin containers too. The yellow billy balls really pop in that arrangement!
