So thrilled to share another Inspired Creations Contest wedding concept from the lovely Tammy Golson! In addition to the adorable cupcake escort cards, Tammy shared a beautiful and whimsical outdoor brunch idea with us.

Tammy and her team of Ana Dolan, Sofia Negron, and Gabrielle Aronas created a tabletop and brunch buffet with a subtle school theme and were inspired by office supplies found at Ikea, which they repurposed as vases and serving platters. The retro orange and green tabletop featured vintage soda bottles and kumquat centerpieces, and my favorite school-themed detail: No 2 pencils!

Place cards using titles like “Most Likely to Succeed” and “Foreign Exchange Student” in lieu of names, and in place of the traditional appetizers, entrees, and desserts, the menu read “Prerequisites”, “Electives”, and “Extra Credit”. Too cute!

The brunch buffet, which included lighter fare such as fresh fruit salad, salsas and dips, and asparagus, as well as cupcakes and a savory quiche, features a magazine holder as a vase and a three-tier inbox as a serving tray. So creative!

Storage bins and even stacks of paper were used to add height and dimension to the table.

By using affordable items from Ikea and flowers from a local market, Tammy and her team pulled this look together for less than $200 – amazing!

I love this tablescape!!! The colors are absolutely perfect for summertime gatherings. And, who doesn’t like brunches? Love the idea of serving the food on the three-tier paper organizer.

I loved that Tammy used everyday school supplies as serving trays, food holders etc. As soon as I saw this I thought it was the most creative idea I had ever seen. Would love to see an overall photo of the food display table! Thanks for having me be a part of this project.
