Every little detail of Elizabeth and Samuel’s Sun Valley wedding is lovely. Captured by Hillary Maybery Photography and held on a private residence in Ketchum, their celebration is full of love and tradition.

The wedding day began with a ladies run and brunch in Warm Springs, which is a tradition among Elizabeth’s family and friends who are married in Sun Valley. For the run, the bride wears a baseball cap with a veil sewn on and afterwards chooses a memento to sew onto the veil to symbolize her relationship with her husband. As for her wedding attire, Elizabeth wore the same sixpence in her shoe that her grandmother had worn in her wedding, and pinned a handkerchief from Sam’s grandmother that had been in her family since the 1800′s under her gown.

Elizabeth and Samuel are both avid cyclists so they incorporated cruiser bikes into their decor!

Elizabeth and her father rowed across the pond to the ceremony.

Elizabeth says:
“I wanted both of my parents to walk me down the aisle because they have each played a huge role in my life, both creating my character and in modeling a healthy loving relationship. Sam also had both of his parents walk him down the aisle. We are two incredibly lucky people who have amazing parents and we wanted our ceremony to reflect this.”

This little man is too cute, right?

Tables were named after ski runs and an illustrated chalkboard displayed the menu.

I also have to sneak a peek in of their adorable ski lift ticket save the dates. Elizabeth’s brother found two bails of wire wickets and Elizabeth and Sam created the mock lift tickets. I adore how they turned out and it was such a great first impression of their wedding!

Hillary, thanks so much for sharing Elizabeth and Samuel’s wedding with EAD! Even more photos can be found on Hillary’s blog!

Everything was done so beautifully, I love the added touch of the heirlooms to the brides accessories. What a great way to honor those relatives.
