Engagement sessions are so much fun! It’s a wonderful chance for the bride and groom to get comfortable in front of the camera, as well as to really show off their personalities in a unique and interesting way. Leah and Todd’s Atlanta engagement session, photographed by Hollie of Lytle{foto}, was a wonderful collaboration between the couple and their photographer. Hollie suggested a tea party theme, and Leah was inspired by this shoot from Simply Bloom Photography; put the two together and you have this magical shoot, full of lovely vignettes and captivating images!

Hollie says: “I draw inspiration for these shoots from thrift shops, antiques, beautiful landscapes, fashion, and dreams…as cheesy as it sounds, every couple deserves to landmark their big day with something truly unique and amazing.”
I can’t wait for Leah and Todd’s October wedding. With Eliana at the helm and Hollie behind the lens, it’s sure to be fabulous!

Gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing these images! Hollie is such a creative photog. You should meet her in person.. she’s gushing with great ideas. The link that Monika posted is uber cute too. Love the idea of a tea party themed engagement shoot! More brides should opt for that instead of regular shots. ;-)

How lovely! I’m loving the little tent they set up. And the dreamy photography…so romantic!

I found your blog through elly B events entry on this shoot. Your postings are fun and true inspiration. Love the recent outdoor settings.
Beautiful use of light and aesthetic in these particular photos. Looks like this couple will have quite the production and celebration for the wedding! …now I’m off to check out that river shoot mentioned above?? Lovin’ the nature scapes!
What BEAUTIFUL photography! I love Hollie’s work and only wish I lived closer to take advantage of her talents ;o) Imaginative, unique and elegantly stated. @ Monika: your shoot was beautiful as well! However, shame that you insinuate Hollie ‘stole’ your idea…you two aren’t the only photographers that have come up with this idea…what great imagination she has though to actually haul a bed on a hike and place it in a river! Nice vision, Hollie!
LOVE the old camera, what beautiful photos!
