    Oh my gosh…I absolutely love the Bloom invite! Our primary wedding color is yellow and this fits right in with the garden, rustic yet modern and whimsical feel of our wedding. It’s gorgeous!

    I love the Bloom! We are having an outdoor garden wedding and really want to incorporate the look of flowers throughout our invitations and the entire event! I even bought the Melissa Sweet Uma gown because it looks like there are petals all over the skirt of the dress!

  5. Leah writes... {June 29, 2010 at 12:56 pm}

    they are both very pretty and elegant, but I would go with the simple design of the Calisson

  6. Genevieve writes... {June 29, 2010 at 1:00 pm}

    The Bloom is perfect! I am having an entirely outdoor wedding and these invitations are a perfect fit between elegant and relaxed for an outdoor celebration! I love the colors shown here but I can imagine that our wedding colors of orange and green would look amazing too!

    the bloom is adorable! the floral element really caught my eye as balancing the traditional with the modern–very elegant. my family and friends would be impressed!

    I love the Bloom invitation suite! Simple design is always the best, in my opinion. And the flower theme would go perfect with my outdoor wedding! Thanks for the amazing giveaway!

    The Calisson, because I love the neutral tones! I would dress it up as in the picture with a bright envelope, and it leaves me lots of options for my own DIY ideas!

    Love love love the calisson! My wedding colors are grey and orange!

    BLOOM! I am head over heels mad for it. My beau and I are having a simple, country wedding in rural Illinois next summer–these invitations fit our style perfectly! What a way to wow our guests. :)

  14. Laura S. writes... {June 29, 2010 at 8:43 pm}

    They are both beautiful but I would have to go with Callison. The design is simple and elegant, but with a modern twist which is exactly my style and what I am trying to go for with my wedding. It would give my guests a hint of what’s to come, love it!!!

    Calisson is my favorite. I love the modern look that is in right now. This would go perfect with our simple but elegant wedding.

    I heart the calisson! We have a destination bride that is using burnt orange and red tones and this would be perfect for her! The leaf design also works perfect with some leaf details we are using.

    Aaah, thanks for the tip! Turns out that Heather and I have the same exact decorating taste! Our wedding is not frilly, so we like the bold typography of the calisson. Those invites will go perfectly with our Scandanavian design inspired wedding and our rustic/modern venue!

  23. Meghan writes... {June 30, 2010 at 8:51 am}

    I love the bloom invitations. They would be perfect for my wedding which will be a laid back yet elegant outdoor summer wedding, but my colors are pink and platinum, so I’m wondering if the flowers could be pink? That would be perfect!

  24. MYP writes... {June 30, 2010 at 9:23 am}

    The bloom invitation suite is just lovely. It would fit in perfectly with our “simple, yet chic garden wedding” theme. Not even sure if that’s a theme! Anyway, thanks so much for the chance to win these lovelies…appreciate it!

    WOW! What a great giveaway! This was my first time ever visiting Maida Vale’s designs, and I LOVE her simple, clean, and sophisticated stlye. I would choose the Bloom invitation set (in the colors: grey and beet) for our intimate backyard wedding at my parents’ Southern California ranch. This design is so pretty and simply perfect for the intimate wedding we are having.

  26. My fiance and I love the Calisson design. We love the #10 size and that it’s bold and modern without being cold. We also have a flower motif going for the big day – thank you!

    I love the Bloom invitations! My fiance and I are planning our July 2011 wedding, and are going to use wildflowers for our decorations. I just recently discovered etsy.com and love all of the artists and designers that I have seen!

    Hi love the bloom invitations! They would be perfect for my outdoor June wedding. They are simple but also very elegant!

  32. Emily writes... {July 1, 2010 at 7:22 am}

    I love Calisson because of its modern look but not TOO modern that it seems out of character for a wedding.

  33. I love the Calisson design because it is simple and elegant.
    .-= Melissa’s most recent blog post: Just Your Luck- Winners of Pear Tree Greetings Giveaway- =-.

  34. I’d go with BLOOM as I love the extra touch of color it adds to the invite with a hint of playfulness.

  35. I LOVE the BLOOM!! It is perfect for our outdoor wedding, and with an added color of gren or chocolate it would be perfect! I love that it is simple but the flowers add an extra touch!!!

  36. Cathy Lenahan writes... {July 1, 2010 at 2:07 pm}

    The “BLOOM” invitations are perfect for a summer wedding! I just love them!

  37. Codi writes... {July 1, 2010 at 2:15 pm}

    Both the Bloom and Calisson are beautiful invitations! I imagine the Calisson for a simple, urban wedding. The Bloom would be perfect for the November wedding the my fiance and I are planning. We are planning an intimate wedding with elegant flourishes. The Bloom invitation perfectly reflects our style.

  38. I would totally choose the Bloom design – we are getting married May 29 next year and the flowers would be perfect!

    It was really hard to choose between these two because they both really appeal to me. However, since I HAVE to choose I would go with the Bloom (in cherry and grey) because it is a better match for our wedding. We are getting married outdoors next to a small lake in November. The venue is actually a retreat center in the woods so it’s very secluded/intimate and has gorgeous trees and wildflowers. I’m going for a simple and romantic feel and the Bloom invitations are a perfect fit!

  40. Lisa Asanuma writes... {July 1, 2010 at 5:37 pm}

    I would choose Bloom, mainly because I’m getting married in November in a cold climate – and I want my wedding to be surrounded by a bit of spring, even if it’s a little bit of an artificial one. I’ll be making paper flower bouquets, even, to get the look and feel I really want!

    I love them both!
    But my favorite is the bloom. So simple and pretty :-)

    I’ve been a fan of Maida Vale’s Etsy store, and loved the letterpress samples that I ordered a month ago! I love the simplicity of Bloom and S’Apple invites with complementary Navy or Carnival envelopes would be a perfect pairing with the blue/green color scheme we’re planning for our July 2011 wedding!! We are getting married in California and the silhouettes of the flowers on the Bloom invites look very similar to California’s state flower: the Golden Poppy which grow around our wedding venue site.

  46. Adriana Barrantes writes... {July 5, 2010 at 2:58 pm}

    I would go with Callison, i think they are simple and elegant and will totally fit my theme

    I would love the bloom invitation suite! They are simple but also very beautiful. They would be perfect for my wedding.

  49. Jacqueline L. writes... {July 6, 2010 at 2:58 pm}

    First off, what a fabulous giveaway! For brides like myself trying to pull off their wedding on their own, this would be a blessing! I don’t even want to begin to think about all the hours I spend crunching numbers, lol. I’ve seriously found two gray hairs, YIKES! If I were the lucky bride, I would choose the “Bloom” invitation suite. The G’Rod, Gray, and/or B.Rasp colors would compliment our rustic wedding quite beautifully.

    P.S. Seeing that birdies are part of our theme: I couldn’t help but notice the “Wren” invites. <3 Them! Great font…

  50. Nicki writes... {July 6, 2010 at 4:21 pm}

    I would choose the bloom. I am having an outdoor afternoon rustic flower wedding, this september and this would be perfect! I love the color of these invitations and the design.
