Mid-Century Modern Butterfly Tablescape

I’m so excited to show off a colorful and whimsical Inspired Creations Contest concept today!  The uber-talented team of Kate Miller Events, Flourish, and Sarah Maren Photography created a fantasy-like mid-century modern tabletop, filled to the brim with imaginative details.  The vibrant color palette of orange, chartreuse, and coral is an absolute feast for the eyes!

Modern Wedding Centerpiece Tulips and Butterflies

Shannon from Flourish designed a gorgeous modern centerpiece of coral tulips, which swirl around, echoing the shape of the table.  Kate discovered the CB2 large glass bubbles and used them throughout the tabletop, including as a chandelier filled with flowers and butterflies.

French Slotted Chairs sported chartreuse pillows and were accented with a mini bamboo Luxecut™ monogram chair tie.

An additional touch of whimsy comes from the butterfly motif that is carried out in the colorful butterfly printed napkins, bamboo Luxecut™ monogram cards and hand-painted feather butterflies. The colorful butterflies perched on the bubbles, glassware and even atop the whirly globes filled with tulips and tealights.

Green modern chargers, white teardrop cake plates, stainless flatware and stemless glassware continued the modern look and feel. The gorgeous chocolate flower topped cupcakes were covered with a clear glass cloche which furthered the atrium-like design.

Unique Wedding Ideas Modern Butterfly Theme

This wedding concept is perfect for a fresh and funky bride look!  Megan wears gorgeous Melissa Sweet gowns from Bella Donna Bridal Salon and kelly green suede Banana Republic leaf heels. She is accessorized with a glass-like e bangle bracelet and giant briolette drops, which peek out of her birdcage veil, and carries a beautiful bouquet of coral tulips, pincushion and calla lilies concocted by Flourish.
