I love every little thing about Melissa and Abe’s classic Louisville wedding. Pink and gold has long been one of my favorite color combinations and Lauren Chitwood Events created a positively stunning reception for Melissa and Abe, full of feathers and roses. Amy Campbell of Angela Anderson Photography captured all of the gorgeous images.

Melissa is such a glamorous bride! Her feathered headpiece, chandelier earrings and fluffy bouquet set the tone for the event.

I am beyond beyond in love with the gorgeous reception that Lauren Chitwood Events created in The Gillespie! Elegant gold chargers, chair ties in the softest of pink around gold chivari chairs, and centerpieces of fragrant roses and fluffy white feathers come together to create a completely unique and gorgeous tablescape.

I love that this is just dripping in glamour…the soft floral palette and the vintage style feathers are just so gorgeous. And what a handsome couple!
We are honored!!!
We had two dj’s, Coxx events and Jasir Rayyan with Rayyan Band. He specializes in Arabic music!
I couldn’t find the exact hairpiece I wanted… so I created my vision!
Thanks so much for featuring one of my weddings :)

Lauren Chitwood did an amazing job, as usual! Love the feathers.
I have known Melissa since she was in 3rd grade. Did not get to attend the wedding, but the photographs are spectacular. I love the shell pink with the soft gold tones, just absolutely stunning. These images are delicious. Is there any way to get a copy of your piece here in colour? I would adore that very much.
oh my – the feathers, her hair – what a beautiful bride and wedding!!! I always shuddered at the thought of pink at a wedding, but what a beautiful shade….good luck to them!!!
Her bouquet is to die for! Fabulous!
Melissa and all your vendors, your entire wedding is stunning, especially the flowers. Any idea what vases you guys used, or where you got them from? I’m going with a very similar design for my wedding, and haven’t had any luck with the vases. Also, are the feathers ostrich, plume, or something completely different?
Again, congratulations on an absolutely stunning wedding–no doubt it was a blessed day :)!

Can you please tell me what shade of pink is the bow on the chairs?

Such a beautiful wedding! I know this was posted awhile ago, but do you know which specific color of Alfred Sung dresses the bridesmaids are wearing? I love the color and would like to consider it for my girls.
