Kelly and Ivo held their beautiful wedding in Lake Havasu, Arizona, in Ivo’s parents’ backyard. The entire wedding was homemade, from the Kransekake baked by Kelly’s mother, to the ceremony arch built by Ivo, to the lavender lovingly collected by Kelly’s best friend Molly used in all of the centerpieces and bouquets. The wonderful Leigh Miller captured all of these lovely images.
Ivo built the ceremony arch himself from birch and twine.
Centerpieces of natural elements, such as succulents and lavender, were paired with plates and vintage napkins collected from thrift stores and auctions.
Favors of Limoncello were made by Ivo’s brother.
Kelly’s mother sewed burlap table runners, and Kelly and her sister handmade each of the personalized clay rocks that served as place cards.
Photos from throughout Kelly and Ivo’s childhood and courtship were displayed at the reception.
Kelly’s sister painted a beautiful thumbprint tree on canvas to serve as the guest book.
Last but not least, dessert! Homemade Kransekake from Kelly’s mother and Croatian pastries from Ivo’s mother. Yum!
As always, thank you Leigh for sharing your gorgeous work with EAD. And Kelly is a talented photographer in her own right, you can view her blog right here!
