I have never visited Nantucket, but I have always envisioned it to be exactly as it appears in Elizabeth and David’s wedding – full of quaint homes, tucked-away gardens, and lovely shops, restaurants, and chapels. Zofia Photography captured both Elizabeth and David’s wedding and the island of Nantucket beautifully.

The ceremony was held at the intimate Sconset Union Chapel.

Elizabeth wore a silk magnolia in her hair as a nod to David’s family’s North Carolina roots. She is positively radiant in her Judd Waddell gown as she enters the chapel!

A reception followed at The Chanticleer. Elizabeth chose the color palette of chartreuse, green, and navy, accompanied by pops of red.

Each guest went home with a brass compass (“to help navigate in life” Elizabeth says), books of poetry – either Love Poems or Poems of the Sea – and Nantucket chocolate.

One of my favorite details of this wedding is the gorgeous three-tier cake created by Jodi’s Cakes and accented with a vintage stamp garland from etsy seller d Sharp.

This Nantucket Lightship basket inscribed with their wedding date is David’s wedding present to Elizabeth.

This is such a beautiful wedding! I love the bride’s tiered lace dress…so romantic. And the chapel and reception location are both so quaint and quintessentially “seaside”. Congratulations!

simply GORGEOUS.
I wish you could see the lace detailing on Elizabeth’s dress!
My favorite part about the wedding is the “party favors” though – such a sweet & thoughtful touch!
