Immediately after deciding on a venue, we went straight to picking a photographer. This was the easiest and most painless decisions of our whole wedding! We picked Radiant Photography, and didn’t even talk to any other photographers or see any other portfolios! In fact, I knew I wanted them to photograph us even before I was engaged! I saw some of their photos after a friend of mine got married, and I loved their style, composition, and use of light. Scottie and Breanna are a joy to work with, and you can really tell that wedding photography is their passion.
CG and I wanted something that reminded us of when we met… which was a night out on Mill Avenue, here in Tempe, Arizona. (I decided to introduce myself to him after noticing we were both wearing striped sweaters. Awesome pickup line, I know!) So we re-created our first time meeting and our first kiss at Rula Bula (an Irish Pub… we both LOVE Guinness!), and stuck to a general “date night” theme with our engagement session. Mill Avenue was where we met for numerous dates in the beginning of our relationship, so we wanted to capture the memories! Radiant Photography did an amazing job with the challenge of shooting at night, on the street, where you can’t control the lighting. We’re so thrilled with how these came out, and constantly get compliments from tons of people. I can’t wait for the wedding photos!
Are you going to recreate a special moment for your engagement session?
