Real Weddings: Laura + AJ

I love it when I see weddings that I know will still be beautiful in ten years, twenty years, fifty years… Laura and AJ’s wedding is one of those that has a timeless quality to me – not only due to the gorgeous details, but also because of the beautiful images that were captured by one of my favorite people and photographers, Luke Walker from Clark+Walker Studio.

Laura planned each detail of her wedding – from the invitations to the flowers – around her elegant Renella de Fina gown.

Laura and AJ met while students at Union College in Upstate New York, and returned to their alma mater for their ceremony, held at the lovely Memorial Chapel on campus.

The reception was held in the ballroom of the Saratoga National Golf Club. Laura chose to play up the natural beauty of the room with a classic blush and silver color palette. 1920′s-inspired crystal and silver pedestal candleholders highlighted several tables, while others were set with lush baby pink rose centerpieces.

Guests went home with jars of yummy gooey hot fudge sauce from local company Sundaes Best.
