Choosing our photographer is one of the biggest decisions we made when making wedding plans.
As you remember, we had a tough time picking our photographer. Our search started with photographers from Ireland but we quickly got discouraged. It suddenly occurred to us to look for more someone local in Boston and try to convince them to travel to Ireland with us for the wedding. I couldn’t be more excited to have one of the best photographers in Boston actually say yes! Lisa Rigby was absolutely phenomenal. She arrived in Ireland on Wednesday and was there to shoot the whole weekend affair. At the end, it was as if she was really part of the family. It made the experience that much more special.
Here are a few photos of us around the town of Dungarvan, a small fishing port located on the southeastern coast of Ireland. Its quaint feel makes it a great place to get to know the locals.

Thank you to our friends Stephen and Steve for joining us in our photos!
Are you having a destination wedding? How did you choose your photographer?

Not sure if our wedding location counted as a destination spot. It was three hours away in a little town called Atwater that had an old Victorian home that had been converted to a restaurant. We held the ceremony in the garden and the reception in side.
