I adore this southern vintage bridal inspiration shoot from a group of Dallas wedding vendors led by Catie Ronquillo Photography and Lauren Kelly Events! There is a beautiful array of found objects in each scene, and the delicate Southern bridal looks and vintage accessories are a perfect juxtaposition.
Lauren and Catie say:
“We took the idea of a Southern wedding and deconstructed it. The scene was set by the pulling of fantastic elements such as old typewriters, iron bedframes, wooden trunks, and spools (that are typically found in your Southern antique shop) into a natural atmosphere. We wanted to rework the vintage trend that has been working it’s way through the industry and modernize it into something more appealing to the bride who craves hot pink lipstick with her pin curls. Our vision was to ensure that nature was enjoyed in every capacity and the pops of color it offers are enough decoration to ensure this couple experiences a simply Southern wedding day without too much fuss.”
