Martha and John’s Malibu West Beach Club wedding is all about easy elegance, personal elements, and casual beauty. Martha designed the event herself and put so much thought into creating a fun California experience for her midwest family and friends. She also even made her own gorgeous wedding gown – so talented!
The lovely Heidi Ryder captured all of these beautiful images and Whitney of Wish Wonder Dream made sure the day ran without a hitch.

Creating all of the elements of the day was a true group effort. Martha’s sister jumped in to make the colorful ceremony programs!

Guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio with a stunning view of the Pacific before heading inside the beach club for dinner. Carrie Fick of CFS Design created a comfortably elegant atmosphere with sand-toned linens, centerpieces of personal bud vases, and wine bottle table numbers.

Escort cards were polaroid pictures of each guest – everyone had such fun looking through the images to find their photo!

Martha and John set out squares of fabric for guests to sign as a guest book, which they will stitch together into a quilt.

To end the evening, guests received macaron favors, baked by a friend.

And naturally, Martha and John’s engagement session is also awesome. You can see the images here on Heidi’s blog; it was set in a silent movie theater!
