Melinda, Mrs. Lamb on Weddingbee, and Jason married in a lovely DIY winter wedding full of creative details, from the stationery to the vintage wedding gowns. They let white take the stage, using accents of blue and silver. The bride and groom met as students at Bucknell University.

What an amazing wedding. The photographer did a great job and I love the photos from above the reception site.
Keep posting great work!
This wedding looks so elegant and beautiful! I have a question – if you arrange your seating at dinner the way it was done here, how do you assign seating/tables to the guests? Meaning, since there are only three tables, how do guests know where to sit?

hi Noopur! one way I have seen would be to number your seats and give the floorplan to your catering staff, and have them escort people to their seats. another is to have a diagram at the front of the room. I love estate tables and I think they are such a great alternative to round/square tables!
Yeah – I love it! I just wouldn’t want it to become a nightmare to organize and execute. I’ll check with my DOC and caterer to see what they think. Thanks so much!

We actually numbered each individual table that made up each of the 3 large tables. Guests were provided with a seating chart during the cocktail hour before hand, and place cards at each seat. It was even more straight forward numbering than many round table receptions are! Very easy for the guests, and they loved it! Hope it works out for you, as it wasn’t a nightmare at all!
