Real Weddings: Jeannie + John

Jeannie and John’s Palm Springs wedding just oozes modern sophistication!  Held at the hip The Parker Palm Springs, the pink and orange color palette really pops and Jeannie (who just happens to be the sister of the fabulous Michelle of Mi Belle Photography) is an absolutely radiant bride.

Nancy Williams of Fancy Nancy executed the details of the day to perfection, Nico Designs did an amazing job with the floral and decor, and Jessica Lewis captured all of the gorgeous images.  I’m in love with each and every little detail, including the stunning Thread bridesmaids dresses!

The attention to detail in the reception is fabulous – Laura Hooper Calligraphy lent her hand to create a beautiful menu in orange calligraphy, and tables were dressed with pink and orange centerpieces in all shapes and sizes in milk glass containers.  A single small flower on ribbon sat at each place setting to add a pop of color!

  4. What a stunning wedding. The bride looks amazing, her bridesmaids incredible and the groom looks relaxed and carefree. The photographer should be proud!

  5. The colours are just gorgeous. I’m absolutely loving the style and colour of the bridesmaid dresses. And the bride’s dress is so feminine – very pretty, especially the detail around her waist. Beautiful couple!

  6. Stylish and i love the added touch of the Grooms shoes. The flowers also tie in so well with the whole colour scheme, not just colour but shape and mood.

  7. I adored the purple and green theme I must say though I would have preferred to have seen a purple bouquet rather than gree. Maybe I’m old fashioned!
    Cheers

      Hi Marisa! I’m so sorry but I wasn’t given that information – not sure if it came with the gown or was an accessory purchased on top of the gown. Hopefully a helpful reader will know more!

  11. Ami, that’s ok! Thanks for responding :) And yes, hopefully a reader will know! I want one of those for my dress :)

    Hi Ami! Do you know what the name of the dresses are? as well as the color? I am having trouble finding them on thread Thanks!

    • Ami writes... {March 24, 2011 at 11:09 am}

      Hi Taylor, I’m so sorry but I don’t have any further information. I know Thread has stand-alone storefronts, perhaps you can contact one of them and they can help you figure out which line they are from. The wedding is a bit old, so I’m sure it’s a past season and perhaps they may not be available any longer.

    This was a great color I dont often see in weddings. Great bridesmaids dresses as well!

  16. Lovely bridesmaid dresses, could you please let me know where you purchased these dresses and name of the colour? My wedding is in 5months and I am in love with these colours.
