Victorian-Inspired Holiday Reception

I’m just in love with all of the holiday creations I have received to share with you this year and today’s is just as fabulous! The always-creative Kristen from Kio Kreations partnered with Tara Etrheim Photography, RBK Creations and Fudge U to create a gorgeous Victorian-inspired holiday tablescape full of DIY charm. I’m going to share the beautiful final product this morning and later today, I’ll share full DIY tutorials for all of the elements of this holiday shoot, which was set at Arrowhead Golf Club in the Chicago suburbs.

Christmas-Table-Decor

Inspired by vintage Christmas postcards, Kristen set out to create a holiday wedding with a new spin on all things Victorian. The traditional cranberry, olive green, cream, and gold color palette is lush and beautiful, and fun accents in this shoot include beads, golden jingle bells, glass ball ornaments, mercury glass votives, candles, roses petals, and an assortment of festive paper items and yummy treats!

Vintage-Christmas-Cards

Vintage postcards were printed on cardstock and used as “Best Wishes and Advice” cards, which were collected in a beautifully decorated birdcage cardholder.

Wreath ornaments double as napkin rings and favors, and of course no holiday table is complete without sweet treats!

Kio Kreations is amazing!! These pictures make me wish I could get married all over again (to the same man, of course!) and if I did, I’d get married in December so I could have this beautiful wedding. I’m truly impressed with Kristen’s work!!
