One of my favorite wedding ideas has always been incorporating fruit into decor, and out of that love sprung this zippy inspiration board! This color palette’s base is fresh orange and white, with the whimsical companion of turquoise and a touch of vivid green to liven things up.

love this board with these colors! so whimsical and garden inspired!
I’m actually doing something quite similar — tangerine & slate blue. I was inspired to use the citrus from my parents’ garden. They love the idea. I even got my mom to agree to make orange marmalade as wedding favors. After I booked the venue (the Mitten Building), I found out that it used to function as a citrus packing plant. What a coincidence.
Oh, so in love. These are the colors I picked for my own wedding – which is set to happen, um, eventually. I especially dig that polka dot tie!
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
