Real Weddings: Jessica + Michael

The moment that we decided to do a color week of aqua, my mind immediately went to this fabulous Nashville wedding that I had seen on Style Me Pretty a few months back, held at the lovely Cedarwood.  Jessica, the bride, did an amazing job working with Cedarwood to craft an event full of personality, with a whimsical bird theme and a vibrant color palette of aqua, teal, pink, yellow and green.  Jessica collected antique birdcages for the centerpieces and painted them in shades of aqua and teal and found precious aqua birds at a local antique store to use as decor.  Thanks to Jessica and her wonderful photographers, Souder Photography, for sharing!

    3. Love the champagne/blush accents on the bride, bolero + sash. This is the type of wedding you want to have been a guest at!

    4. What a beautiful wedding! I really love her shrug and the fact that she wasnt afraid to go with a different color than her gown- it looks flawless. The Vintage touches are great especially the old camera! And of course the robot shot is awesome :)

    5. I love the birdcages! I just started planning my wedding and thought vintage birdcages would be an awesome way to decorate. Any suggestions on where to find them?

hi ashley! i have had luck finding birdcages at marshalls, tj maxx, home goods, etc. :)

    6. hey ashley! i collected 13 birdcages from several places, but most of these were vintage and all of them are all wood. so i would check your local antique stores, flea market, ebay and etsy. i actually sold some of mine through etsy after the wedding. 2 of them did come from tj maxx around this time last year. best of luck!!!
