Today’s lovely Inspired Creations Contest idea is perfect for the shabby chic bride! The Nashville team of Cedarwood Weddings and Kristyn Hogan created a warm, cozy atmosphere with a glamorous side using a whitewashed color palette and burlap accents. All of the vintage mismatched candlesticks were thrifted and painted in an antique white to create a sea of white candlelight for the romantic centerpiece and mantel. The floral was kept simple (and budget-friendly!) with a unique baby’s breath arrangement, and the mirrors on the walls accentuate the shimmer and sparkle of the candles and add a pretty, antique feel to the setting. And don’t even get me started on the fabulous cake. So simple and beautiful, it’s one of my favorite cakes yet!

I love how the burlap and bling seem to be on opposite sides of the spectrum, but they come together so well here! Love the pictures!
I like the colors, beige & white. It doesn’t look to frilly, but rather crisp & clean! Great job!

I ADORE contrasting textures like burlap and bling!! Rustic and romantic at its best. Lots of great ideas in this setting!!!
Love it, love it, love it…..love it!
Like the burlap for a little masculine balance. It’s the ideal blend and not too over the top fussy. Yin and Yang. Well done.
Thanks for the design love everyone. Kudos to Kristyn Hogan for the photos.

I do not think that the chandelier could get any better. I am thinking of getting something just like it for wedding we set up for.
My Granddaughter wanted me to post a comment for her:

Love it! Simple, beautiful, country chic at it’s best!
This is just so richly elegant. I love the combination of the crystal and the burlap. If it were done here on Marthas Vineyard we would call this “Vineyard chic”. Beautiful
Simply beautiful! Now I’ve begun putting together my own collection of antique white candlesticks to use at my wedding. I love the cake too, simple but lovely. Thanks for the inspiration!
I really like this wedding theme, so beautiful.
This wedding is so elegant! It is an ideal wedding. This is perfect for a royal wedding theme. Candles are really great accents.
i’ve been looking for a cake table similar to the one pictured above…where can i find it?
Stunning. This is everything a wedding dining table should be. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t love this.

This is a classy way to do a winter wonderland theme. I would suggest this to a bride that wants an all white wedding or a winter holiday theme without the red, green, blue, and gold. Thanks you for the pictures. Blogs like yours make it possible for brides to begin the planning process. Thank you for sharing!
Love the pictures. Very classy looking. I’m wondering, does the burlap cause any ‘itching’ or shedding problems? The girl @ our fabric store is allergic to burlap–won’t even cut it due to itchiness. Has that been a problem for anyone??
