I fell instantly in love with Tara and Joshua’s Rhode Island wedding. The gorgeous scenery took my breath away, and I really am just a sucker for historic venues with pretty chandeliers, mantels, and mirrors. Tara and Josh wanted to shape a celebration of love, warmth, and bliss to share with those they held most dear. Lara Kimmerer captured the love between the couple with care, and the beautiful setting of the Glen Manor House was the perfect backdrop for their elegant and intimate affair.

Who did the hair and makeup? This bride is stunning! I love the side swept hair style, it fits perfectly with her gorgeous, vintage gown. I am a huge fan of her lace top gown – fabulous.

hi there, Tara did not provide information on her hair and makeup, so I am guessing she did them herself! so glad you loved this wedding as much as I did. :)

Haha I wish I did my hair and make up myself! My mom goes to this amazing woman and she set the whole thing up for us. The link is below they are in South Kingstown, RI they were super accommodating for all 12 people and actually had us in and out in under 2 hours! It was amazing.

@madison my mom actually made the wreaths herself!!! With Hydrangeas from her garden. Then she took them and gave one to me and josh and one to my brother and his wife. Now we have the gorgeous wreath in our living room!
Lara Kimmerer is an amazing photographer, she captured the feeling of love and beauty that was in the air that day, I am the floral designer and I wish I could take her with me to all the events I do floral designs for, she is so talented. Tara and Josh were so easy to work with, their families and friends were so happy, it really was a special wedding.

Is there any way you could email or show an upclose view of the other fireplace? I’m having a fall wedding and would love to see how she actually decorated it.
Love the wreaths!!!

hi @southernbellejm – thanks so much for reading and commenting! i just checked through the images and only see one fireplace, if you search “mantle” on the site though, there are a few other images of fireplace mantles that you can check out! :) good luck!

@southernbellJM The mantle was done mostly with red apples in tall vases, walnuts in the shell in more shorter rounder vases, some floating candles and dried red hydrangeas that was pretty much it.
