Rick & Jennefer were married on a beautiful April afternoon at Nashville’s Historic Cedarwood. I could not be more in love with the lovely handmade and shabby chic feel of their wedding! Every little detail was unique and personal to them, from the piece of Jennefer’s grandmother’s quilt sewn into her handmade gown, to the handkerchief favors and the decor from their personal collection of antiques. This wedding is just oozing with gorgeous details and amazing images by Kristyn Hogan!

As mother of the bride, I have to tell everyone that Cedarwood staff made Jennefer and Rick’s wedding an amazing event! From the planning session; to the decor; to the food; to the clean up Cedarwood handled it all to perfection. The family and guest had a wonderful time playing games on the lawn, touring the historic house and don’t forget the beautiful wedding in the barn. Thank you Cedarwood, Patty Cakes, and Dream Come True Catering. Not to forget Lee Eubank who took a couple of quilt pieces and turned them into the perfect wedding gown proofing that she has an amazing skill of design. Thanks, everyone
It was such a pleasure and honor to work with Jennefer in designing and creating her wedding gown. Every bride who chooses the custom route has reason with a passion behind it. Jennefer’s desire to honor her grandmother by incorporating the quilt pieces into her dress is one of the most unique requests I’ve received. The entire process, which she generously trusted me with so many details, was a journey and challenge that in the end I couldn’t have been more pleased with. To see a bride light up at the final product and be so grateful, it’s amazing. Kristyn did an amazing job of capturing the wedding with all it’s beautiful little details. Cedarwood Mansion, in a word: breathtaking! The staff did a superb job of executing the design details and illustrating their vision.
