I’m a huge fan of Minted, so I am honestly thrilled to have them as an EAD sponsor and doubly excited to give one of you lucky readers a $100 Minted gift certificate!  In case you aren’t familiar with Minted, it’s an online stationery store and community of independent graphic designers. They allow amazingly talented designers to showcase their wedding invitations, personal stationery, holiday cards and more in one spot – basically, it’s a perfect place for you to find the stationery that’s just right for your wedding!

Minted has also just added a very cool new feature – DIY wedding program templates.  We all know that handmade touches make your wedding feel so much more personal, and these programs are a great way to put your own spin on your stationery.  Simply download the DIY template, insert into your favorite Minted wedding program cover, and add your own embellishments!

Minted recently asked bloggers to participate in a design challenge, to apply their own personal style to the new DIY programs – it’s amazing how unique and different these talented ladies were able to create are.  Sarah Matthews of Orange Blossom Ink designed the fresh yellow and gray program above, and Hannahcloud Design got playful with the confetti packet programs below.  You can also use something creative like twine, washi tape, or even stitching to create a unique binding for the program.

    Oh My!!! Oh My!!! Oh My!!! The story book DIY programs in winter cream would be absolutely PERFECT for my October wedding. My wedding is at the oldest Catholic church in town. Think old world ornate. Then, our reception is to follow at an old mansion in town. These would be perfect for us. So So So perfect!!!

    I love, love, LOVE the minibooks! How fantastic are those?!?! It’s so hard to choose, but my favorites (as long as I could get them in my colors) would have to be the Cocktail Hour minibook and the Banner and Branches minibook!

    First let me start by saying I love Minted…what a great way to showcase different designers! I would choose the Happy Couple Program Mini-book. The design is simple, clean, and modern with a touch of whimsy.

    I’ve very fond of the “modern lotus diy programs.” It would fit right in with my wedding if the espresso yellow text and sangria red backing were mixed together.

    My fiance and I love yard sales and antiques. One thing that we both enjoy collecting is Ball canning jars. We both love the fireflies program. We are getting married in a barn, on a hot summer’s night in New England. This style suits us perfectly. The both of us are artsy and crafty, and plan to include DIY projects within our wedding. We are even using the Ball canning jars in our center pieces!

    We were lucky enough to get engaged in Paris, but we both born and raised in the Midwest. Our “sophisticated country” wedding inspired by our experience abroad and our love for the Heartland would be accented so well with the Mr. Laurence diy programs. :)

    I like quite a few but I think I’d have to go with banner & branches- it has a sweet, vintage-y, organic feeling that appeals to me but I feel like my fiance would also like the sensibility of the Wes Anderson-ish font.

    The Destination DIY Programs by Unless Someone Like You are really striking. I love the balance of art and typography– such simple ideas, but together it’s really something special . I could see this being perfect for our Columbus Day Weekend wedding in rural Pennsylvania.
