Real Weddings: Angie + Tim

Angie and Tim’s wedding is the epitome of elegant, southern chic.  The couple worked with Events by Nouveau Flowers to design an intimate and relaxing celebration at Florida’s Carillon Beach using natural elements that echoed one of their favorite travel destinations, Italy.  Centerpieces of herbs, berries and olive branches in weathered oversized pottery and apothecary jars set atop classic wood estate tables, and linen napkins hand-embroidered by Angie’s grandmother graced each place setting.  I am simply in love with all of the thoughtful and personal details and the gorgeous images by Rae Leytham Photography.

Angie and Tim used childhood photos as escort cards and personally selected the photos for each guest. Silver Oak wine that was given to the couple by a dear friend who passed away was opened with dinner, and the bottles were signed as a guest book.

Angie says: “I told myself to remember all the details, each feeling and enjoy every moment. I did not want to be a bride that was so overwhelmed that I didn’t remember the day. I certainly accomplished this goal! I enjoyed every moment, from riding in the golf cart over to meet my father, to seeing Tim for the first time, the amazing ceremony conducted by the pastor and every laugh, cocktail and dance of the reception.

The best decision we made was to host our wedding on a Friday evening. On Saturday we were able to all met up on the beach to tell stories of the wedding! Saturday night we hosted a dinner and it was wonderful to get to spend the entire wedding with family and friends.”
