Friday Flowers: Cattleya Orchids

Orchids come in just about every size and every color imaginable. From bright greens to deep, rich purples, and from ruffled and frilled to sleek and modern, the variety of orchids spans just about as much as the variety of all flowers in general. Today I’d like to share one of my favorite types: Cattleya Orchids. Cattleyas themselves even come in a variety of colors, but we usually see them in a vivid white with a buttery or bright yellow center. Take a look at these gorgeous arrangements that feature Cattleyas:

  1. Jacelyn writes...

My husband bought me a phallenopsis orchid in a deep wine colour right before he had to leave on a trip. I’ve been in love with them ever since!

  2. Cattleyas looked so pristine, romantic with understated elegance. Those floral arrangements are stunning. Any bride will surely want to have one of those bouquets for their big day. It would look amazing as table centerpieces especially on clear glass vase or just lying down on a small glass plate with a candle. Cheers!
