I can’t believe this weekend is Memorial Day. Do you know what that means? It’s summer! And to officially usher in the season, here’s a little inspiration for your summer seaside soiree! Sperrys, twine and rope detail add nautical charm, while gorgeous hand-lettered escort cards keep it classic and personal. A perfect combination for a laid-back, preppy summer wedding!

This past weekend our facility had a complete beach theme wedding! The place cards were beach theme votive holders. Favors were sand dollars and beach candles. The bride made a navy blue satin overlay in the cutout shape of a starfish, which was placed over white underlay over light blue overlay linens. All the tables had beach names. The cake was a turquoise square decorated with seashells. The bride even wore a starfish necklace and earrings.

The mix between the earth tones and subtle pops of color is gorgeous! I especially love the groomsmen in Sperry’s; casual yet chic for an ocean wedding!
