Friday Flowers: Peonies

It’s peony season, so why not dedicate this week’s Friday Flowers to those gorgeous ruffled blooms? Little did I know that while writing this post I’d experience shortness of breath, random giggles, and rapid heart beat. There’s something about peonies that just makes me positively giddy. What is it about these blooms that make them so sought after for brides across the world? Whatever it is, perhaps you should have some sort of smelling salts handy to revive you after you get a glimpse of this collection of fabulous florals!

    1. I am loving the pairing of dusty miller and peonies. It has become quite the trend to boarder the bottom of peony bouquets with variegated greenery and light greenery like dusty miller! Thank you for the DIY inspiration!

    2. What a gorgeous blog post bursting full of one of my all-time favourite flowers…

I bought some coral peonies from the flower market in London this week and can’t quite get over how they develop from a small tight coral bud to a huge open bloom…in different shades of yellow and pink.

      Beautiful!

    3. These flowers are absolutely gorgeous – so fluffy and full. The bride and bridal party look so much brighter and cheery carrying these pretty bouquets. I’m especially fond of the coral and peach colors for spring and summer weddings.

The flowers and pretty dresses is mandatory that at every wedding, as well as a luxury car. So, lean for a Miami car service if held in this warm city. Greetings and success, friends. http://bit.ly/484czc

Where did the bright coral dress on the. 6th frame down on right side come from? I am looking for that color.
