French-Inspired Mountain Wedding

Kathleen and Patrick brought the feeling of a French Chateau to the mountains of North Carolina in their wedding at the Biltmore Forest Country Club. Incorporating their French and Irish heritages, the four-leaf clover and a fleur-de-lis were blended into a unique logo that was used as a label for the elegant wine bottle candelabras which sat in the center of each table. I absolutely love Kathleen’s custom lace and silk dupioni gown by New York Bride and Groom. A huge thank you to Jere and Ashley Dotten for these gorgeous photos!

Sarah, it makes me so happy you liked my dress. I worked closely with a seamstress of New York Bride and Groom in Charlotte NC to custom make my dress. I combined the idea of a top of a monique lhuillier and the bottom of a priscilla of boston with an original back to make the gown. Thanks so much for asking!

      • Kathleen, I apologize for the delay in response. Brilliant! You put together the dress that I have been dreaming about since I started about dreaming about my wedding when I was a little girl! I am far from having a wedding of my own, but have multiple pictures of your dress on file (yes, in my wedding box) for when that time comes. Again, simply stunning!
