Soft + Romantic Kentucky Wedding

Claire and Evan’s Lexington wedding is full of romantic details and classic Southern touches. Following the ceremony at Central Christian Church, guests walked in a parade, led by a marching band, to The Carrick House for the reception. Neutral tones including cool grays ruled the day, enhanced with pops of eggplant and earthy texture, especially in florals by Jaclyn Journey. Ivory garden roses, gray roses, dusty miller, ranunculus, lavender Amnesia roses, purple scabiosa, eucalyptus, and deep purple foliage accented bouquets carried by bridesmaids, clad in one-shoulder gray dresses, and Claire, who chose an ethereal, romantic gown from Bridal and Formal. Carefully curated details, such as wax seals on mod gray stationery and an award ribbon seating chart that led to miniature gold horse place cards, make this wedding unique. We’re in love with the creative doughnut cake from Magee’s Bakery, as well as the flawless look of the reception tables, thanks to planning from One Fine Day Wedding Consultation.
