Coca-Cola Retro Modern Tablescape
I am completely head over heels for this retro modern tablescape created by the talented Latrice Cushenberry of Opulent Couturier! Latrice, a Nashville event planner and true Southern lady, styled this beautiful yet approachable tablescape with a Coca-Cola theme, using glass Coca-Cola bottles for the centerpieces, vivid red linens, and pops of blue as an accent.
The vendors that contributed to this lovely tablescape are:
Styling - Opulent Couturier
Photography - Donald Yeager
Floral - Brocade Designs
Stationery - LePenn Designs
Linens - Connie Duglin
Ruffles and Boots
I love Bob and Allison’s engagement session, spotted on the Lucky and Lovely blog and photographed by JAC Photography. Everything about Allison is just adorable - from her braids to her ruffle dress and cowboy boots (and Bob’s not so bad himself with his dapper gray vest)!
Embellished Sweet Straws
I absolutely adore the vintage charm of these embellished Valentine’s Day straws designed by Livy of A Field Journal. If these don’t get you into the Valentine’s Day spirit, I don’t know what will - and not only that, but these could easily be translated into wedding decor, favors, or even creative save the dates.

Jade Green and Ice Blue
Two of the amazing qualities about this thing we all call inspiration is that it can 1) come together from anything and 2) be interpreted in different ways by different people.
The top left photo below, fabric flowers from Twigs and Honey in jade green and ice blue, was originally posted by Cyd on The Sweetest Occasion. It was instant love! So Cyd and I decided to collaborate and show you how you can take your favorite photo or object and build elements of your wedding around it.
First up, the inspiration board that I created based upon the photo…

And, a little peek of the amazing table setting that Cyd put together - head on over to The Sweetest Occasion for the full table!

Black and White
Simple and classy - black and white weddings will never go out of style, but you can spice it up by using the colors in unexpected ways.
A black and white dessert table? Yes, please!

Salt Dough Hearts
I think I’m getting into the spirit of Valentine’s Day this year. These little salt dough hearts are so precious. Imagine the possibilities - favors, as a save the date, as a pretty place setting decoration… love (no pun intended)!

Real Weddings: Matt + Jill
I love winter. It’s such a magical season… when fresh snow blankets the ground there is a peace about the world. Minneapolis certainly sees its fair share of snow, which makes it a perfect setting for a classic winter wedding. Matt and Jill’s wedding, captured by the lovely Laura Ivanova, is one of those weddings. The portraits in the snow make my heart melt.
Jill chose to accompany her San Patrick gown with her grandmother’s vintage stole and elbow-length gloves.
Whimsical Purple, Red, and Orange
Purple is my favorite color, and when paired with bright pops of orange and red, it becomes a little bit funky, a little bit whimsical.
When using strong colors together, pick one base color and use the others in moderation, then anchor everything with a wash of white. The red vases, white linens, and purple flower arrangements are a great example of interspersing color effectively (and the ghost chairs just make that table perfect, don’t you think?).

Sparkles and Silver
Nothing is more flirtatious and girly than silver and sparkles…
