Real Weddings: Lori + Jonathan
Welcome to the EAD Weddings blog! We are so excited to have you here. If you are a new visitor, we'd love for you to subscribe to our RSS feed and visit our sister site, EAD Living. Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!
Everything about Lori and Jonathan’s wedding is pretty much perfect. We have puppies with handmade ribbon collars and leashes, the most beautiful DIY flowers, a light and fun color palette of yellow and gray, and an Austin, TX wedding venue that is so unique and different. And on top of that, Heather from Eclectic Images outdid herself with spectacular photography, capturing every little detail and special moment!
Lori’s gals were decked out in gray bridesmaids dresses by J Crew and wore yellow shoes of their choosing and yellow flowers in their hair.
Not to be outdone, Jonathan and his groomsmen are dapper in their Chuck Taylors and the couple’s three pups sported yellow ribbon collars and leashes. Aren’t they precious?!

Real Weddings: Alli + Jason
Alli and Jason’s Indianapolis garden wedding is full of personality. Jenny Grise of Grise Photography captured all of the wonderful moments, including a quite unexpected downpour during the ceremony!
The couple chose chocolate brown and green as their color palette and bridesmaids wore gowns of their choosing by J Crew.

Rustic Garden Wedding
Garden weddings are so very of-the-moment. Infuse nature’s color palette with shades of pinks and purples and you have a romantic and timeless event.

Brooklyn Bride Holiday Card Swap
It’s holiday time again and Vane from Brooklyn Bride is holding her 3rd annual card swap! I’ve participated in all of them and I am giddy each year when I see who my swap partners are - it’s so fun to connect with everyone.
If you want to swap (and I hope you do!) here are the details:
Happy crafting!

Real Weddings: Nicci + Dennis
Nicci and Dennis’s wedding had the perfect fall color scheme - cranberry, orange, and apple. I love the crispness and vibrancy of the colors and the beautiful images from Tana Photography.
Bridesmaids received custom bracelets by The Beaded Bangle to wear with their cranberry gowns…
… while groomsmen wore train cufflinks, echoing the couple’s reception venue, the Boise Train Depot. Such a cute touch!

Real Weddings: Holly + Matt
Holly and Matt’s Seaside, FL wedding is one of those that just makes me nostalgic for the South. Paul Johnson Photography did such an amazing job capturing all of the sweet and Southern details!
Holly is an absolutely stunning bride. Classic, natural, and beautiful.
Her adorable King Charles Cavalier helped her to get ready (you know I can’t resist posting a good puppy shot).
Favorite photo of the event… heading to the church!

Real Weddings: Amanda + Matt
You may remember Amanda and Matt from their San Francisco engagement session blog post a few months ago. Steve Koo captured those amazing images and also photographed their beautiful wedding at the Kenilworth Club in Chicago.
Amanda’s Amy Kuschel gown is just to-die-for (it’s officially my new favorite wedding gown ever) and a vibrant orange and purple bouquet completes her look.

Whimsical Peach + Light Blue
Even though we are deep in the clutches of fall I know a lot of you are planning spring and summer events. Peach is a color that always brightens my day and I adore weddings with a touch of whimsy - pair the two, add a splash of blue, and voila!

Real Weddings: Farnaz + Jeff
There are many things that I love about Farnaz and Jeff’s beautiful Hawaii wedding. First, the lovely setting of the Four Seasons Hualalai. Second, the incredible photography from Clark + Walker Studio. But mostly I just adore the gorgeous natural beauty of the bride, Farnaz. She looks relaxed, calm, and happy - the three things that I hope every bride feels on their wedding day!
Farnaz and Jeff chose all white floral and decor but let their bridesmaids have a splash of color with bright and beautiful red dresses - perfect for the beach setting.

Red Winter Wedding Inspiration
I adore winter - it’s so soft and still. I hope your weekend is as peaceful as this board is!
