Pretty Los Angeles Garden Wedding

We love the location of Kristy and Harnnull’s California wedding—tucked away in the gardens of Cafe Pinot in the heart of downtown LA! The couple carried the floral theme over into their invitations from It’s Amore Design + Letterpress and even used nature-inspired recipe cards for a guest book. Adrienne Gunde Photography captured the day of laid-back elegance for the …

Our Nebraska Wedding: Reception Details

View all of Stephanie’s previous wedding recaps here

So before we get into the awesomeness that was our reception…let’s take a look at the set-up!  And by ‘set-up’ I mean all the beautiful flowers and details of course!!

All I really told our florist is that I wanted the randomly-thrown-together-country-wildflowers-in-a-jar look…and boy oh boy did she deliver!  I mean seriously the pictures …

Our Nebraska Wedding: Ceremony Part 2

After we exchanged our vows…it was time to ‘put a ring on it’.

Our pastor started by saying:

Let these rings be a sign that love has a past, a present, and a future
Through you and within you.

Then Lance recited these simple yet beautiful words while slipping the ring onto my finger.

Stephanie I give you this ring as a sign of my …

I loved every single part of our ceremony.

Our pastor was very laid back and easy to work with.  We were given the freedom to piece together our ceremony which made it so much more meaningful to us.

After our pastor welcomed everyone, my cute cousin read our first reading.

{View all of Stephanie’s previous recaps here}

Now that our parents were seated, and Lance was patiently waiting at the front of the aisle, it was our wedding party’s turn to make their trek down!

To the tune of Married Life from the movie Up… played ever so wonderfully by our string quartet… our friends/siblings made their way to the front of …

Our Nebraska Wedding: Pre-Ceremony Jitters

As we were finishing up our portraits some of our guests were already starting to arrive!  Before they found their seats they were greeted by our thumbprint-tree guest book.

Going with the thumbprint tree was sort of a last-minute decision.  After seeing them all over the blogosphere I sorta fell in love with it!  Not to mention it went perfectly with …

After our little trip to Memorial Stadium it was finally time to head out to Country Pines.

Once we got out there I spent a good 10mins just walking around and checking out the amazing job my Aunts did in setting all the decor up.  Seriously…everything looked above and beyond what I had envisioned…I’ll show you all the decor/detail goodness in …

Our Nebraska Wedding: Portrait Time!

After our first look Lance & I headed out into the Nebraska heat with Khara to snap a few pics of just the two of us.

I remember feeling so hot and mildly freaking out inside that I was never gonna make it in this heat (80s!)…haha!!  Salt Lake had a very cool spring so we had yet to experience temps …

Our Nebraska Wedding: The First Look

Posted 10/06/2010 by in Photography \ 9 comments

For the sake of being completely honest…our ‘First Look’ wasn’t all that I envisioned it to be.

Now ok yes…I WAS looking forward to seeing Lance for the first time…and more so for him to see ME all done up in my dress…but I guess in my head I had fantasies about overflowing emotions, chirping birds, perfect sunlight, a few horses …

Our Nebraska Wedding: Getting Pretty!

After we finished getting our hair done, it was time to head back to the hotel and complete the look!

Like I said…we were well ahead of schedule and still had a good hour or so before Khara showed up to start snappin’ pics.  So my friend, and personal attendant extraordinaire #1 got started with my make-up.
