California Bohemian Wedding Inspiration
There is no more fitting way to bring the Inspired Creations Contest to a close than to showcase this vibrant, eclectic, and undeniably gorgeous wedding concept from Courtney Cole of White Flower Boutique, Jenna Kageyama of flutter glass Photography, Emilia Keene-Kendrick of Sweet Emilia Jane, and Erin Lepperd of Erin Ever After.

Emilia shares: “This shoot grew from a love for all things bohemian mixed with a penchant for the gorgeous natural parks of California. We were inspired by the vibrant oranges of the state flower, the poppy, and the perfectly speckled feathers of the state bird, the quail. Fuse these all together and what do you get? Why California Bohemian, of course, and so our concept was born.”

“We wanted to evoke the feeling of a roving gypsy caravan that stopped in the wilds of California and threw a gorgeous bohemian wedding al fresco. Think bright, wild blooms mixed with antique gold and feathers, lots of feathers.”

Inspired by Hot Air Balloons
I’m so sorry for the late post today everyone. Hopefully this adorable Inspired Creations Concept will make it up to you! Styled by Ashley Dicksa of Creative Events by Ashley and photographed by Lilia Ahner of Lilia Photography, this garden tabletop has so many gorgeous elements – I’m pretty much in love! Ashley was inspired by vintage photographs of hot air balloons and used a romantic color palette of baby blue, moss green, and pale pink.

Let’s start with my favorite detail, the precious heart-shaped succulents that serve as place cards. Ashley used her die cut machine to create each name and non-toxic spray glue to affix them to the succulent. Moss and a smal piece of cardboard serve as the base, and these make not only a beautiful addition to the place setting but also a wonderful favor!

Strawberry Farm Inspiration
As promised, I’m back with another adorable Inspired Creations Contest concept from Ashley Pepitone! This comfortable and relaxed look is inspired by Ashley’s fond childhood memories of her grandmother’s farm and lazy summer days picking berries off the vine.

Gorgeous colorful flowers paired with white asparagus stalks in galvanized pails for an unexpected and unique centerpiece.

A County Fair Affair
I have two adorable Inspired Creations Contest concepts to share today, both from promising new event designer Ashley Pepitone. Her adorable first concept is inspired by the sights, sounds, and smells of the county fair.

Each place setting features a darling bundle of quintessential carnival food – Coke floats, popcorn, and hot dogs – as well as wooden cutlery tied with twine. Centerpieces of sunflowers in mason jars bring a cheery and bright feel to the tabletop.

Chairs were accented with vibrant ribbon in all of the colors of the fairground.

Mid-Century Modern Butterfly Tablescape
I’m so excited to show off a colorful and whimsical Inspired Creations Contest concept today! The uber-talented team of Kate Miller Events, Flourish, and Sarah Maren Photography created a fantasy-like mid-century modern tabletop, filled to the brim with imaginative details. The vibrant color palette of orange, chartreuse, and coral is an absolute feast for the eyes!

Shannon from Flourish designed a gorgeous modern centerpiece of coral tulips, which swirl around, echoing the shape of the table. Kate discovered the CB2 large glass bubbles and used them throughout the tabletop, including as a chandelier filled with flowers and butterflies.

Breakfast Buffet Reception
We have reached the last week of the amazing Inspired Creations Contest wedding concepts – I hope that you have enjoyed the unbelievable creativity of all of the submissions as much as I have! I am completely in love with today’s wedding idea from the team of Dandelion & Grey, Olive Juice Photography, and Dapper Paper. They put together a fresh alternative to the standard dinner reception – a southern-style breakfast buffet reception!

Erin at Dandelion & Grey says: “We started with a gorgeous vintage farmhouse dresser placed in a idyllic, expansive field. I wanted to come up with a unique way to house the delicious comfort food and decided on using antique kitchen tools and gadgets for the serving pieces.”

Inspired by Home Decor
Today’s gorgeous Inspired Creations Contest concept was created by the team of Revert Photo, A Touch of Bliss, Bella Fiori, and Makeup by Janine. The inspiration comes from all around the home – which is where the heart is, as they say!

This wedding vision is perfect for the couple who loves a natural, clean color palette with a few punches of color and richness and has a fondness for the West Elm style. My favorite element of the shoot is the gorgeous place settings, which featured coffee beans, succulents, and unique coffee-stained place cards.

A tablescape using natural elements of lush greenery and rich coffee beans contrasted nicely with stark white dishware and brightly colored fabrics. Textures varied from roughly constructed placemats of dried reeds to the smooth and satiny surfaces of a Jonathan Adler vase.

Inspired by the Hamptons
Our second Inspired Creations Contest tablescape today is a refreshing blue and champagne palette inspired by the Hamptons. Sweetest Candy Buffets, Royal Events by Melissa, Truly Yours, and Angel Canary Photography envisioned a late summer dinner overlooking the ocean, incorporating Federal Blue and Apple Green linens to reflect the outdoor setting.

Flower and fruit garlands draped over the sweetheart table with votives set alongside. Small floral buds were slipped into ribbon-wrapped napkins, and white pillar candles set atop glass candle stands on each side of the miniature dessert buffet centerpiece. Arco cut crystal stemware, Chateau flatware, and silver band china were included for an elegant table setting.

Elegant Winter Tabletop
I have two positively lovely Inspired Creations Contest tabletop concepts to show off today! The first is the work of Custom Paper Works, GoIzzy and Dziekonski Photography, and it is an elegant winter tablescape in shades of warm white and silver.

Cascading flowers hang from a wreath above the table, and lots of candles create a cozy feel.

1980s Retro High School Love!
The team of My Simple Details, Holly Chapple Flowers, Kate Triano Photography, and Paperzest is taking us back to the 1980s today with a retro high school sweetheart Inspired Creations Contest wedding concept!

The design started with a throw back to schoolyard days with custom mix tape favors! Vintage school chairs paired with a white and chrome table, and a custom runner with black cursive numbers on a white background added a graphic element. Vintage turquoise Melmac dishes were used to create a relaxed fun feel and mod orange water glasses added an additional pop of color to the tabletop. A “HS SWEET HEARTS” banner was strung on the bride and groom’s chairs.

Dandelion Wine
It’s safe to say that I’m in love with all of the unique details in this Inspired Creations Contest wedding concept from the team of Sara from Sara Gray Photography, Kim and Bonnie from Punch, and Kathy from The Party Place. The entire concept was inspired by Kim’s love for the book Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury.

Kim purchased a copy of Bradbury’s book at a thrift store as a teenager and fell in love with the story, cherishing the book over time as the book became lovingly worn and yellowed. Kim and Bonnie, partners in Punch bonded over their shared love for the book and its namesake blooms. When the team came together to decide on a concept, dandelions were in bloom and the time was right to design a unique wedding idea based on Bradbury’s novel. The result is an elegant, clean, less-is-more approach with a touch of whimsy.
Incredibly, the team spent a mere $55 to create and design this entire concept.

Rustic Campsite Wedding Inspiration
I am absolutely stunned by the level of creativity that we have seen from all of the Inspired Creations Contest wedding ideas. Today I’m thrilled to showcase the amazingly talented team of Jesi Haack Weddings, JL Designs, Sweet and Saucy Shop, Gabriel Ryan Photographers and Paper and Thread, who created a concept perfect for a couple who loves camping and the outdoors!

This rustic tabletop is just full of to-die-for elements, including a make your own S’mores favor box, “sleeping bag” menu jackets, blue speckled dinnerware, sporks, and centerpieces in bark-covered vases. The table itself was handmade from reclaimed wood found in dumpsters.
