Shades of Purple

Today’s palette is a mix of lavendar, mauve, a light pink, and green.  Perfect for a spring or late summer/early fall event.

The overall feel is very romantic and intimate.  I am usually not a fan of loose or cascading arrangements but somehow here it just works.

I love purples and greens together - this went the muted route but you could also do a palette of grape and chartreuse, eggplant and olive, lavendar and mint… the list goes on and on!

Rustic Olive

Inspired by two photos from Linda’s wedding, I give you our first green board of the week - a rustic, romantic, organic olive green.

I love using nature as your color scheme.  Linda’s wedding was held on a vineyard, but I can certainly see this working in any open area.  And it’s green in more ways than one - infusing ”green” into the event is easy with an outdoor setting, but making your favors herbs, teas, seeds, potted plants, or something equally environmentally friendly goes the extra mile!
