Twelve Chairs

Our new blog of the week is Twelve Chairs.  No, we can’t read one word of this blog, but the pictures are well worth the subscription. Cruise Twelve Chairs for the beautiful floral inspiration and you might just come away with a color scheme for your wedding!

Enjoy!

Inspired Goodness

Our next Library sponsor is Inspired Goodness. Owned and operated by Kimberly, a New York graphic designer, Inspired Goodness is so unique we had to create a category specifically for it!

From invitations to monogrammed wreaths, Kimberly can take care of it all.  To add to the goodness, she also writes a blog that consistently provides inspiration and ideas for E and I.

Look for a feature on Kimberly’s own wedding later today!

This, as everything we post on the blog, is not a paid advertisement. We would never compromise this blog’s integrity by giving a biased opinion on a paid listing. We contacted our initial sponsors based on the fact that we personally know and admire their work, and our Q&A sessions with them are in no way a part of the advertising on the Library, rather they are a glimpse into some of our favorite vendors.

Raffit Ribbon

I seriously had the hardest time finding ribbon for our wedding. I had to settle for Blossom ribbon from Paper Source, which was a much brighter pink than I wanted. But I was desperate and just wanted it to be OVER. If I had to do it over, I would go with Raffit. We are using a burgundy ribbon for an EAD Bride and the company is fantastic. Of course I assumed they would be as I found them on the Martha Stewart website.

There was a slight mixup in the order which required us calling them, but they cleared it up right away. The ribbon is great quality. We ordered the Tuscan taffeta.

You can order online, or visit their store in New York.

Pearls Events

Our next library sponsor is Aletha from Pearls Events.  She is a Beetle driving, dog loving, newlywed who just happens to be a fabulous event planner in Grand Rapids, Michigan. To say she’s been a big support of EAD is an understatement.  She gives faithful encouragement to both E and I!  Aletha also puts out solid and useful content on her wedding blog.

We asked Aletha why she loves what she does:

My job gives me a sense of joy that no other job has. I leave each meeting, vendor appointment and wedding with a smile on my face, knowing what I do makes a difference in the day the couple will remember forever.

Aletha started out as a Knottie, and some of her very first test clients were fellow Knotties in need of day of coordination.  It has been awesome seeing Pearls Events grow into a successful business.

Enjoy,

A.

Molly’s Invitations

I left all of you hanging on the “more to come” from yesterday’s post.  We had a freak storm hit Birmingham late last evening and were without power until this morning.

Molly had the most fabulous stationery created by Heather Toupin (aka heatherjeany).

Heather is a gocco’ing fiend.  When combined with Molly’s sense of style, the result is oh so cute!  Molly chose the lattice with vintage profiles (love how realistic they are!) for a modern vintage feel.  It fits perfectly with the venue.  You can seem more of these invites on Once Wed and Heather’s flickr photoset.
