Guest Blogger Erin

A. and I are so excited to bring you a fantastic guest blogger this week, Erin from Blue Eyed Bride.  Erin was recently married, and it was fabulous, but I’ll let you see that for yourself during this week as she takes you through her planning process all the way up to her big day!

Welcome Erin, we are thrilled to have you here!

Around the Blogosphere: 6/28-7/04

A. and I read so many different amazing blogs that we thought we would begin sharing our favorite posts/ideas/links of the week.  We hope you enjoy and if there is anything you would like to see featured in our “Around the Blogosphere” column, please send us an email to {elizabeth anne designs at gmail dot com}.

TWIB (this week in blogging!):

On a sad note, our hearts go out to Jessica Lynn of Tying the Knot for the sudden passing of her father.  She is an amazing person and we are saddened by her tragic loss.  Please offer her some strength and kind words and keep her and her family in your thoughts.

Real Weddings: James + Glenn 6.7.2008

We have a stunning one for you today.  James and Glenn tied the knot in a gorgeous Florida affair, photographed by Shari Bare and orchestrated by Kelly McWilliams - what a team!  On top of that, James is an interior designer, so as you can imagine, not a detail was left unfinished.

Bite Size Desserts

What’s better than wedding cake?  Letting your guests feast on a mini dessert buffet filled with treats such as small pies, parfaits, truffles, mini tarts, and bite size cookies!

Having a low-key reception with hors d’oeuvres?  Pass these adorable single-bite desserts at the end of the party and everyone will leave happy.

Real Weddings: Ellen + Caro 5.3.2008

Ellen and Caro were married at one of my favorite venues, the Viceroy in Palm Springs, and if that weren’t enough, they had the positively drool-worthy Next Exit Photography there to capture the day.  The Viceroy is black and white and yellow all over and so was this wedding!

Check out our stylish couple:

Greek Isles Cruise, Part III

Part I
Part II

Our last port in Greece was the island of Corfu, which was completely unlike anything I expected from Greece.  It was lush and green and very tropical.

Greek Isles Cruise, Part I

Hi everyone!  This weekend I’m going to regale you with tales of my Greek Isle cruise!  We sailed on the Royal Caribbean Splendour of the Seas and departed from Venice, Italy on June 14th.  Two of our best friends, Feisty Tourist and her husband, accompanied us.

Venice was lovely.  It was not my first time to the city so there was not pressure to see everything and do everything.
