Darci (author of the amazing With This Ring blog) was *so* sweet yesterday.  She sent us an email letting us know that she gave us a shoutout on her blog AND sent this gorgeous orange and gray board that is just so elegant and chic.

This morning I opened my email to find this perfect, spring-like board looking up at me from our friend Erin at Lucky Designs:

I can’t say enough about Erin’s perfect use of the color green in this board.  She used a gorgeous spring green with a light apple color to create a visually stunning combination with gray and white.  The entire board feels so clean and sunny, and is perfect for this time of year, when traces of Spring are just starting to appear. 

It’s a gorgeous day outside here in Chicago (can you believe it?) so I’m out to enjoy it!

April at the ever-fantastic Blu Sky Designs just sent me over two gorgeous gray boards - better a little late than never I always say, so without further adieu:

April’s first board utilizes a color that I’ve been enamored with lately, cobalt blue.  Cobalt is so strong that a little goes a long way and she smartly stayed true to the less is more adage with this stunning board.  What’s so amazing is that even though there are only half of the 14 pictures with blue and all with gray, the eyes are still drawn to the blue first.

I adore yellow. Have I said this before?  If not, I’ve been remiss.  It’s such a perfect color for a summer wedding, which is just what Kathryn of the fabulous, gorgeous, wonderful (and every other adjective I can think of describing pretty) Snippet & Ink has portrayed with her yellow and gray board.

I am love love loving this color combination! The two shades are fantastic separate, or combinable into a dusky gray/blue. Any accent color would pop against these neutrals. I want a complete outfit in these shade! Or a house, or a wedding! I’ll take anything. The colors perfectly fit this cold winter’s day.
