I adore ...]]> I’m a huge fan of all the shine I’ve been seeing lately! Of course I love glitter and sequins, but right now I’m more inspired by two different metallic details. Up first is foil stamping! Just about any invitation can look fabulous with some foil whether they are modern, elegant, or romantic. It brings in a bit of glam!

I adore the teal and gold combo on these invitations:

You could wrap some pretty velvet ribbon in either a complimentary ...]]> One of my favorite things about chilly weather is being able to rock velvet. I mean, c’mon…you really couldn’t wear a velvet blazer or skirt to a 4th of July picnic, could you? I absolutely adore the idea of using velvet to provide chic fuzziness to an otherwise chilly wedding!

You could wrap some pretty velvet ribbon in either a complimentary or contrasting color around the stems of your bouquet.

For the guys’ flowers, why not tie some velvet ribbon around the base of their boutonniere too? Just a little bit will do.

Or, do more than just ribbon and dress up your man in a sleek velvet blazer.

And why should the guys be the only ones who get to wear velvet? Whether it be shoes, jewelry, or even a fabulous blazer, I love the look of velvet accessories for brides!

When it comes to the reception, tie a neat velvet ribbon around the menus or napkins.

Even if you don’t use actual velvet on your big day, there are also a few types of flowers and plants that have a velvety feel. Colorful cockscomb and cool lambs ear are two options that give the same texture as velvet.
