“Feel Pretty”

We received the loveliest email from Audrey Snow. In cooperation with the American Cancer Society, Audrey has begun to offer free boudour sessions (with images) to SW Florida’s breast cancer patients and survivors.

The best part?  Audrey is not simply doing this in celebration of breast cancer month, this is an ongoing opportunity for breast cancer patients and survivors.  Audrey, thank you for your incredibly good heart and for letting us know about this!

Peter Doyle Photography

As my husband dabbles in photography and dreams of someday being able to make money at it, I gave him the job of finding us a great wedding photographer. Neither of us was keen on standard wedding photography, with all the forced poses, people standing next to each other awkwardly with their arms around each other. We wanted someone who would approach documenting our celebration in a more photojournalistic way.

Enter Peter Doyle Photography, hidden gem of the NYC wedding photography scene! He was so professional and non-intrusive; when we got the photos back I could not believe that he captured some of the moments he did, because I never even knew the camera was nearby!

Rehearsal Dinner Photography

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” - Aaron Siskind.

That Mr. Siskind was a smart man! It’s true, the photos and the memories are the only parts of the big day that stick around after the candles burn out and the wine bottles are emptied. And most brides will agree; photography is a number one priority when it comes to the wedding day.

LHE Real Weddings in the Hamptons

This wedding took place at a private residence in Watermill, NY. The bride wanted to incorporate a color scheme of teal and pink, for her late-summer wedding. In addition, she wanted detailed elements of shells and starfish to create a beach theme. The ceremony took place on the property overlooking the bay.  The guests then moved to the pool area for a Tuscan themed cocktail hour, as the couple was engaged in Italy. The tented reception had a U2 cover band and exceptional decor by Artfool. This wedding is featured in the current issue of The Knot NYC Metro. Head over to LHEverything if you would like to see some more photos by the fantastic Maggie Heinzel-Neel.

LHE Real Wedding in NYC

This wedding took place at the Central Park Observatory Gardens, followed by a reception at the Rainbow Room. Carrie from LHE was the planner on this event. With these photos, we really wanted to highlight the beauty of New York City. It is common for our clients to take photos at their favorite places throughout the City. It just so happens that these clients chose to take photos right near our offices in TriBeCa. We rented a double decker tour bus to take them and their guests around the city. The photos are from the talented Brian Dorsey. We have more photos from this event at our blog, LHEverything.com.
