Real Weddings: Jeshica + Brian

Jeshica is from Texas, Brian is from Alabama, they met in China, were married in Santa Monica and it was perfect – clean, fresh, and with cascading orchids everywhere! After their beach ceremony, they celebrated at the beautiful Shutters on the Beach which was decorated with crisp white linens and vibrant arrangements of different yellow flowers by An Elegant Thorn. Bellisimo Events did an incredible job planning their wedding and in only 2 months and Karey Michelle Photography did a wonderful job capturing all the beautiful details of the day!

Real Weddings: Katie + Steve

Katie and Steve’s Malibu wedding is a fresh spin on December - winter wedding meets the beaches of Southern California – and it’s fabulous! Greenwich Floral Design used calla lilies, white peonies, and ranunculus along with silver brunia and other soft florals to create gorgeous, cool, wintry arrangements. Being a music nerd myself I may or may not have gasped just a bit out of excitement to see that “die-hard USC fan” Katie was surprised with a performance by the USC Trojan Marching Band at their reception! Very cool. Such a mix of fabulous details and wonderful photos by Heidi Ryder Photography – this is a winter wedding I’d certainly love to have attended!

Real Weddings: Jen + Brian

It’s destination wedding day on EAD today! It has been very cold here so looking through photos of Jen and Brian’s tropical Puerto Rico wedding has been a real treat! Jen chose lightweight dresses from Loft in fresh shades of cool aqua blue as well as soft blush, coral, and cream flowers by Fleurish Events for her bridesmaids. She had her own bouquet wrapped with her grandmother’s freshwater pearl necklace and placed her Nana’s sixpence inside her bouquet as well since she didn’t wear shoes for the celebration. These fabulous photos by Rebekah J Murray are fresh and beautiful and so so much fun! Transport me to Puerto Rico, please?

Real Weddings: Diana + Nick

Diana and Nick’s Florida wedding is modern elegance meets beach chic. The ceremony and reception were both held outdoors at the Watersound Beach Club, decorated with black and white striped panels as well as other black and white chairs and linens. Nouveau Flowers created several different arrangements in shades of green, ivory, and the softest shade of blush for the event. I’m so ridiculously in love with Diana’s stunning copper Vera Wang gown! It’s absolute perfection with her fabulous red hair. Real Weddings: Emily + Jeff

Anyone else in need of a tropical escape before the holiday this weekend? Emily and Jeff’s laid-back Hawaiian wedding is the perfect remedy for the over-shopped and over-stressed! It was a small wedding – the couple celebrated with 13 of their closest family members in Maui over a 3-day weekend. Their serene oceanside ceremony at Wailea Golf Course was highlighted by bright pink and orange florals by Teresa Sena Designs. Such an intimate, colorful, and romantic wedding with beautiful photos by Emily’s sister, the amazing Sara of Sara Gray Photography, it’s the perfect medicine for the stresses of the season! Real Weddings: Tracy + Mike

Tracy and Mike’s Kauai wedding is absolute perfection! Dressed in a gorgeous Vera Wang gown and carrying a ruffly white bouquet filled with peonies by Martin Roberts Design, Tracy married Mike under floral garlands on a picture-perfect beach at The St. Regis Resort in Princeville, Kauai. Their all-white reception was classy and elegant with mercury votives sparkling under a variety of fresh white blooms, the most impressive of which being the tall, cascading orchid centerpieces. These gorgeous photos by Jen Huang capture this incredible destination wedding – one of our favorites of the year – and all the elegant details of the day!

Real Weddings: Jill + Luke

Jill and Luke had an elegantly preppy wedding at Hotel del Coronado in northern California. Luke and his groomsmen wore gray pants, navy sport coats and uber-preppy Vineyard Vines ties, while the bridesmaids wore short navy Jenny Yoo dresses in various styles. The elegant white and gold reception was positively stunning, and my favorite detail is the place setting – clear chargers rimmed in gold, revealing a doily framed menu underneath. Such a fabulous detail that worked to compliment the stunning florals by Kathy Wright & Company. A gorgeous day with beautiful photos by the always amazing Jennifer Dery!

Real Weddings: Annie + Ryan

Annie and Ryan had a cool, casual, Key West wedding. I absolutely adore Annie’s simple flowing gown and Ryan looks too dapper in those suspenders! I mean honestly, how much cooler can these two get? They used orange and lime details for their reception, filling the bottom of their flower arrangements with them and even using sliced limes for the escort cards. We all know my favorite color is aqua so obviously I’m in love with the bridesmaids’ dresses as well! A fun and laid-back wedding gorgeously captured by the fabulous Hilton Pittman Photography!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and that you don’t have too bad a case of the Mondays. If you do, you probably want to consider skipping this post because you just might shut down your computer, pack your things, and go to the beach. You have been warned. Dena and Shane were married at the Pacifico Beach Club in Costa Rica. They played it simple in terms of decor and flowers because…well, look at this view! A clean palette of white and blue with hydrangea, orchids, and lots of candles did not distract from the natural beauty of the setting. Julie Comfort did an amazing job capturing such a beautiful day!

Real Weddings: Jenifer + Gastao

Jenifer and Gastao were married in Jenifer’s parents’ backyard in Coral Gables, Florida. How lucky is that? I love the attention to detail that Jenifer used when selecting her flowers. She did all her flowers herself (!) and chose ones that not only fit into her color palette, but also whose meanings she loved. For example, she chose lilacs (first emotions of love), stock (lasting beauty), seeded eucalyptus (protection, healing), and a several other flowers which not only looked beautiful but also had special meanings. There were so many beautiful photos of them from Elaine Palladino Photography that I had a very difficult time narrowing down which ones to include! A gorgeous setting for a gorgeous event, so happy to share it with everyone today!

How cute are these dresses? They were handmade by the seamstress that used to make all Jenifer’s competition leotards when she was in gymnastics and Jenifer made the flowers on them.

Seriously though, can I come over for summer BBQs?
