Real Weddings: Brandy + Blake

In a sunset wedding at the beautiful Wild Onion Ranch in Austin, Brandy and Blake were married under the open sky and stately trees. Their ceremony was held under a wooden gazebo, accenting the rustic feel of the day. After the sun went down, guest dined and danced the night away under twinkling stars, lights, and beautiful florals by The Flower Studio by Coby Neal. Check out the fabulous shoes the bride and her bridesmaids wore! I adore this sweetly elegant wedding and all the photos by Nessa K Photography!

Real Weddings: Alissa + Kyle

There’s nowhere more beautiful than sunny Charleston, SC, and its historic venues and scenery, and no better setting for Alissa and Kyle’s classic wedding than the seaside Historic Rice Mill, the only one of Charleston’s three antebellum rice mills still standing. The small terrace is a gorgeous spot for an intimate ceremony or cocktail hour, and the fabulous interior features exposed brick, wide plank wood floors, expansive double windows, and pressed tin ceilings. I adore how Alissa and Ryan enhanced the natural beauty of the venue with their natural white and brown color palette, and how they brought a bit of the seaside indoors with lantern centerpieces. I’m in love with Colette and Luke’s gorgeous rustic and romantic Austin wedding. Classic black bridesmaids dresses and sleek, modern tuxes plus gorgeous florals by Petal Pushers? Adore! The couple incorporated natural, rustic elements into their wedding without compromising the elegance of the event. My favorite detail is the aspen logs that Colette’s dad hollowed out to be used as vessels for the flowers and programs. Real Weddings: Lindsey + Michael

Lindsey and Michael were married at the beautiful Heavenly Scent Herb Farm in Fenton, Michigan. The gorgeous, sprawling grounds of the venue are filled with sweet smelling herbs and flowers and were a stunning backdrop to their romantic garden wedding. I’d absolutely love to spend an afternoon here! Kathy, the owner of the farm, also helped out by creating the beautiful bouquets out of fresh hydrangea and herbs from around the farm. Such a pretty wedding with lovely photos by Jennifer Grant!

Real Weddings: Amelia + Andrew

You know when you look at someone’s wedding photos and just know that they’re really cool people? That’s how I feel about Amelia and Andrew and their wedding. They were married at the beautiful, family-owned, Keswick Vineyards near Charlottesville, Virginia. It was really important to Amelia to have peonies for her wedding so Kelsey Elliott created gorgeous arrangements of peonies and roses in soft and fun colors in a mix of different containers. I adore the pop of aqua blue from the napkins and that fabulous dessert table backdrop! To me, this wedding is amazing, color-perfection, and captured beautifully by the talented Korie Lynn Photography!

Real Weddings: Elise + Bill

I’m over the moon today to share Elise and Bill’s beyond gorgeous Michigan wedding! Elise is the sister of my dear friend Natalie (the mastermind behind Pemberley Events), and her wedding was infused with so many charming handmade details and the most amazing organic, lush florals from Petal Play Design. The Blue Dress Barn in Benton Harbor, Michigan has such a quaint, rustic feel, and it was the perfect setting for Elise and Bill’s “kind of quirky, eclectic, vintage” wedding. The wedding was a true labor of love for the family. Natalie planned and designed the event, Elise’s father made the wooden flower boxes with chalk sides for the centerpieces, Bill made the cake topper, and Elise’s mother sewed the flower girl dress and even made the wedding cake! Elise and Bill have been together since high school, and their love and joy is so palpable in these beautiful images from Harrison Studio!

Real Weddings: Brittany + Andrew

Brittany and Andrew’s French-inspired wedding was formal, romantic, and incredibly elegant. Since their wedding guests would not be able to join the newlyweds on their Parisian honeymoon, they wanted to bring the feel of Paris to them! Sleek black linens and taper candles were softened with blush and ivory florals by Artistry in Bloom and how cute are the little mini Eiffel Tower cookies? It was everything the bride and groom had envisioned and thanks to Heather Cherie Photography we’re able to share in the beautiful details of their day as well!

Real Weddings: Alyssa + Scott

Ooey gooey light, orchids everywhere, an elegant indoor reception featuring the most lovely florals… there’s nothing not to adore about Alyssa and Scott’s wedding at Montecito’s San Ysidro Ranch. The outdoor ceremony was held beside the gorgeous stone fireplace and featured elegant chairs and couches with fluffy, colorful pillows for seating (love this!), then everyone moved inside the gorgeous hotel (John and Jackie Kennedy honeymooned at San Ysidro) for an intimate reception with gorgeous, lush florals by Leanne Michael Florals. I’m just in love with all of these images from Jessica Lewis Photography!

Real Weddings: Brooke + Christopher

What does a Texas native transplanted to the Bay Area do to honor her home state in her wedding? Incorporate the “yellow rose of Texas” of course! Brooke and Christopher’s classic, elegant soiree at San Francisco’s Julia Morgan Ballroom has the most refreshing yellow, white, and gray color palette, such a gorgeous contrast to the rich, deep colors of the ballroom! Nancy Liu Chin Designs did an incredible job with the event creating big soft bouquets and lush arrangements featuring roses, ranunculus, and hydrangea and JBD Events made sure the day ran without a hitch. Such a pretty wedding with pretty details and pretty photos by Mulberry Photography!

I simply love California weddings and this warm and colorful winery wedding is no exception! Healdsburg Country Gardens played a stunning backdrop to Austin and Brian’s big day. A sophisticated yet casual wedding, they decorated with gorgeous rose, dahlia, and freesia arrangements by Floral Designs by Heather Hendrickson. I love all the natural details they used such as the wooden apple baskets and the twig-tied napkins! The gorgeous colors and scenery were brought to life in the images from the always amazing Julie Mikos!
